The 2008 Fine & Performing Arts Christmas Concert: It Came a Flow'ret Bright
Presented by Concordia University - St. Paul
The concert is a series of ensemble music selections, readings, and audience hymns built on this Christmas theme. The performing groups are the Concordia University St. Paul Christus Chorus, Jubilate Choir, Handbell Ensemble, Organists, and Festival Orchestra. Featured massed choir pieces include movements from Bach’s Cantata 62, Alexander’s “Blessed be the Flower that Triumphs”, Honegger’s “King David”, and Manz’s “E’en So, Lord Jesus, Quickly Come”.
Please Note: In support of the Concordia Volleyball team’s quest for another national championship, the time for the Fine and Performing Arts Concert on Saturday, December 6, has been changed to 6:00 PM.
